Breaking the mould. Blurring the boundaries. Subverting the status quo. From cross-genre sonics, to independent label heroics, Resin Dogs have continuously made their own rules and carved a unique niche in the global scene as one of Australia’s most renowned and respected music exports. Now the Dogs return with their massive third album ‘More’ – 14 tracks of pure, groove-drenched funk – undoubtedly their finest offering to date.

International artists in the truest sense of the word, the Dogs have been living on and off and working overseas for the best part of the past the last 3 years determined to do their bit to promote Australian music across the globe. From playing at top festivals such as Womad in the UK and Colours of Ostrava in the Czech Republic, Sziget in Hungary ect, to collaborating with the cream of the overseas production crop, the Resin Dogs have absorbed a variety of different styles and influences to build on their already impressive sonic repertoire.

Co-produced by The Nextmen’s Brad Baloo, the album shines with remarkable versatility, as Resin Dogs flex their musical muscle over 60 head-nodding minutes. On the album opener, ‘Coming with the Sound’, the Dogs bring the funk to the fore with brilliant booty-shaking effect, whilst kingpin UK rapper Mystro teams up with aria award winning Hau from Koolism to dish up the goods on the album’s dub-flavoured first single ‘Definition’. On ‘Fine Mess’ The Nextmen’s Baloo steps up for a smooth slice of funk perfection with YunGun on vox, whilst the Dogs’ stunning song-writing lead the way in ‘Caught up’ – an exquisite vocal-led gem from Abstract Rude.

With stunning contributions from the likes of US Abstract Rude, Aceyalone, Mikah 9, Uk Demolition Man, and many others, the globe-trotting Dogs have created the kind of world-beating album that achieves the impossible – it raises the bar on their already impressive career and is guaranteed to convert hoards to the Dogs’ intoxicating beat.

If a white-hot new album wasn’t enough, the Resin Dogs plan to make an electrifying return to the Australian live circuit later this year, with the crew utilising an impressive line-up of guest breakers, MCs and live players for a stunning series of PA’s not to be missed.

10 year veterans of the Australian music scene, the Resin Dogs will be staying true to their independent roots by releasing ‘More’ through their own Hydrofunk imprint. An irresistible concoction of beats, bass and attitude, the LP strikes a knockout blow of truly global proportions.
